Elmira Savings Bank is participating in FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program which fully guarantees the entire amount in all non-interest bearing transaction accounts through December 31, 2009. This insurance coverage is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.

General FDIC Deposit Insurance Coverage for 2009:

Single-Owner Accounts: Up to $250,000 aggregately
Joint Accounts: Up to $250,000 per co-owner aggregately
IRAs and certain other retirement accounts: $250,000 per owner, separate from above
